Payment
             Dr. Abramowitz charges $150 for an initial assessment and $125 for subsequent therapy appointments. Many insurance plans cover mental health services. Some plans require pre-certification before they will pay for services; some have deductibles that must be met before insurance payments begin. Please contact your insurance company to determine what your policy covers and how to access services. Our policy requires patients to pay for services at the time they are provided. We will accept a copay once insurance coverage has been determined.
 
            Dr. Abramowitz has contracted with several insurance plans to provide coverage for members. A partial list includes:

Appointments
             Dr. Abramowitz has office hours Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM. The office is staffed with a receptionist most days from 8AM to 3 PM who can gather essential information and schedule appointments. You may leave a voice mail when the receptionist is not on duty. We will make every effort to schedule your appointment at a convenient time for you. Appointments are 50 minutes long and may be scheduled as often as necessary.
 

Missed Appointments
             When you make an appointment we are reserving an hour specifically for you. If you find that you are unable to make the appointment, it is necessary for you to let us know immediately.
•     At least 24-hour notice of cancellation
•    No show charge of $50 if less than 24 hours
•    No-show charge will not be paid by insurance and is the responsibility of the patient.
